Year of Manufacture - 2015Serial Number -1159Case - Hard CaseCondition - VGCWeight - Under 3 Pounds !!!!!Waterloo WL-KWeighing in at under three pounds, the featherweight WL-K is an exciting new 12-fret addition to the Waterloo line built with maximum responsiveness in mind. Inspired by the elusive instruments manufactured under the sub-brand Kel Kroydon around 1930, which were touted at the time to offer the utmost in vibratory response and the finest tone available, the WL-K is delicately built using lightweight materials and supported by thinly carved braces. When paired with a minimal lacquer finish, the resulting tone is dry and transparent with just the right level of complexity in the overtones, capable of capturing the expressiveness of the player down to the finest nuance. With a 24 7/8" scale length and moderately sized, oval shaped neck, the WL-K is a fingerstyle player's delight, but this is by no means the extent of the guitars versatility. Exceptional clarity and note separation make it well-suited to a variety of other playing styles and a logical choice for singer-songwriters and purveyors of traditional roots music. A carbon fiber T-bar running through the neck provides stability and efficient transfers of energy back into the body, producing a resonance you can feel. All WL-K models feature carefully selected spruce tops and mahogany back and sides with a light shade top finish, vintage-style cutthrough saddle, and come sans-pickguard. The WL-K is also available with an optional hand-painted "Southwest" scene that pays homage to the American tradition of cowboy stencil guitars from the Depression era. Due to this model's ultra-lightweight construction, we recommend a maximum string gauge of .011" to .052". Hardshell TKL case included. All Waterloo models are handmade in Austin, Texas.Body Width: 14 3/4"Body Length: 19 1/4"Body Depth: 4 1/4"Scale Length: 24 7/8"Nut Width: 1 3/4"Saddle Spacing: 2 3/8"Recommended Strings: D'Addario EJ26 (.011"-.052")Please email or call us on 01425 478135 for details

Year of Manufacture -2018Serial Number -1824484Case - Hard caseCondition - Mint Weight - 5llbs4ozMartin CEO-7 a special model acoustic guitar from Martin reminiscent of those from the Golden Era.Being part of Martins CEO Series of acoustic guitars, that means it was designed by Martin Guitars CEO Chris Martin IV. As such it has some fantastic appointments and showcases Martins signature quality craftsmanship.Complex TonalityFor the top of the CEO-7, solid Aidrondack Spruce has been used. Adirondack Spruce was somewhat of a standard tonewood used in guitars of the pre-WWII era due to its incredibly dynamic range and potential for volume. The back and sides of the CEO 7 have been crafted from solid Mahogany. This combination of high quality woods results in a beautifully complex tonality in the sound of the CEO 7.Adirondack Spruce has also been used for the scalloped, quarter inch, X style bracing which results in optimised resonance, projection and a securely built guitar. As is traditional, bone has been used to form both the nut and the compensated saddle a great material for ensuring optimum transfer of string vibration to the body and enhanced sustain.High Level of PlayabilityTo enhance playability of the CEO 7, a few top end features were decided upon by CEO Chris Martin IV in the design stage.Fitted with a sturdy dovetail joint, the neck is in a comfortable and easy to play modified V shape; another feature reminiscent of those 1930s, vintage acoustic guitars. The fretboard found on this neck is a black Ebony, making it both highly playable and durable. To add to this, the fretboard has undergone the coveted Plek fret dressing treatment. The Plek Pro is an incredible, high-tech tool that has been developed for guitar production factories. The result of Plek Pro treatment is a fantastic fret dressing that significantly improves the playability of the Martin CEO-7.Please email or call us on 01425 478135 for details
