About Us Situated on the edge of the New Forest in the market town of Ringwood, ( 20 minutes from Bournemouth, Poole, and Southampton, 20 minutes from Salisbury and only 75 minutes from London ) Oasis Musical Instruments is a specialist guitar shop founded in August 1989 with the intention of providing guitarists with a dedicated and comprehensive place to buy and maintain their instruments and gear. We feature high quality new and used guitars such as Duesenberg, PRS, G&L, Collings, Huss and Dalton and Taylor as well as the usual Gibsons and Fenders, plus hard to find replacement parts. If we don't have it in stock we can usually locate it. However that does not mean we do not cater for the beginner and we also stock cheaper and budget lines whilst still maintaining quality.
In the twenty two years that we have been here we have continued to apply the maxim that the best deal is not always the cheapest price but a combination of price, before sales knowledge and advice and after sales service. This has lead to us winning customers all over the world, including one or two famous names. In 2004 we opened our dedicated Acoustic showroom which continues to astound new visitors. we are currently adding the English Luthiers Corner with Atkin, Toon, Brooke and Dave King guitars.
We do not just sell guitars, we live eat and breathe them, every member of staff is a player and most are also gigging musicians. Between us we have over one hundred years of experience in guitar maintenance and repair.
All guitar work is carried out by us on the premises except for jobs involving re-finishing which are contracted out to a fellow luthier with over 40 years experience.
Each member of the Oasis team has a different area of knowledge and expertise but these areas also overlap so whenever you contact us if the person you need is unavailable one of the others will be able to help you.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Shipping And Handling Shipping and handling are charged at cost for First Class delivery where items can be posted (cost includes handling and packaging)
Items sent by courrier are charged at £12.50 for a next day service, UK mainland (excluding Scotland and Northern Ireland) only and up to 10 Kilos weight. For other weights and areas please contact us for a quotation. |
